The young pianist and chamber musician impressed in the selection process for the position of piano teacher and accompanist and has already taken up his new position at five music schools in the state of Upper Austria. 

Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the composition of Die Schöne Müllerin D. 795, written in 1823 on texts by Wilhelm Müller (1794-1827), this cycle consists of 20 lieder or songs. It is a masterpiece of the chamber repertoire of Romanticism.

The inaugural concert of the first Vienna Fortepiano Festival pays homage to Ludwig van Beethoven with two masterpieces, the Op.47 "Kreutzer" Sonata for pianoforte and violin and the Sonata Op.7.

For this interpretation of Chopin's Sonata No. 3 in B minor, Op. 53, Mazurkas & Nocturnes, Cristian Leal (Chile / Austria) has naturally chosen an instrument from Chopin's time: the 1836 Conrad Graf. 

Frederic Chopin's Mazurcas, arranged by Pauline Viardot with texts by Jerome Rose, take you on a journey back in time to the old salons of the 19th century.
